Our certification programs are currently available in English, French, and Spanish, with additional languages under development.

By accessing our website, creating a candidate account, or purchasing any GECB product or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full

Certifications and related exams offered by GECB are not accredited by any boards, bodies, or specific vendors. The examination processes are conducted solely by the GECB team via online proctoring. The certified status awarded by GECB indicates that an individual has completed a combination of defined requirements and is recognized by us as certified. However, certification is not a guarantee or assurance of the competence or ability of any particular individual.

2.5. Intellectual Property

The certifications and credentials offered by GECB are the intellectual properties of GECB.

2.6. User Information

We presume that the information you are providing to us is true and correct. Under no circumstances can you hold us accountable for any discrepancies emanating from the wrong information provided to us by you, either intentionally or inadvertently.

2.7. Data Security

Your personal information is kept strictly confidential through a well-organized security system, which allows access to critical information to the company’s security team members only. This team consists of experienced engineers and staff who are under stringent confidentiality requirements. The security system is backed by the latest technology and ensures that your personal information is fully protected. Your GECB profile, which is available to you in your login area is protected through a password. You are advised to keep this password confidential and to ensure that you close the browser window after logging out from GECB, especially if you are using a shared computer. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, while we do our utmost to protect your personal information, GECB cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make the best efforts to ensure the security of your information on our systems.

 2.8. Technical Information

As far as technical information is concerned, we collect the IP address, domain source, browser types etc. We use this information to keep tabs on the visitors’ interests, website’s performance, and usage trends. This helps us provide you a more personalized browsing experience.

 2.9. Maintenance Interludes

GECB keeps its website accessible and operational (via World Wide Web) to all its customers and Affiliates 24 X 7 all-round the year except for scheduled maintenance interlude. However, any such maintenance interludes shall be notified to all the Users well in advance.

We provide you with a personal User ID and password. Only you are authorized to use your account, therefore it’s your duty to maintain the confidentiality and security of your account. Whatever happens under your account shall be construed to be done by you. Therefore, in case of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account, you shall immediately inform us. Besides, we shall not be held accountable if any hoax entity, a fraud person, or a prankster deceitfully poses as you and provides us with your personal information, right or wrong, without your consent.

We have the copyright for all the website content (viz. Certification Tests, Creativity Tests, Tutorials, Practice Tests, Quizzes, Captions, and Tag Lines) as well as for other characters (viz. Graphics, Images, Animations, Logos, Icons, and Links). Some of them have been designed by our experts using artificial intelligence. Therefore, copying, reproducing, publishing, tilting, transmitting, circulating, displaying, selling, distorting, or misusing the whole or a part of the content, or other characters without our prior written permission shall be construed as an illegal punishable offence.

All the GECB Trademarks, Logos, Service Marks, Trade Names, Product Names, Service Names, etc., are our exclusive property. GECB may display the logos of certain organizations only as an indication of the trust given to us or where our certified individuals work. The presence of these logos on the GECB website does not necessarily imply a partnership or other form of formal collaboration with these organizations.

The Tests, Courses, or any other type of content provided on the website has been created, checked, and reviewed by a team of experts with the help of artificial intelligence; however, the website does not take any responsibility for any errors and discrepancies therein. The whole or a part of content can have some inadvertent errors in the form of technical mistakes, miscalculations, misquotes, misrepresentation, typographical slip-ups, or other factual anomalies. We shall not be liable for any minor or major, direct or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that may arise from your use, inappropriate use, or misuse of the information, or products/services presented by our website.

GECB shall be the exclusive owner of the results and assessments of the various tests and quizzes. These results and assessments are compiled by a team of experts and shall be final. No one shall have any right whatsoever to challenge our results and assessments.

 3.7. Special Admonitions for International Use

Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable Content. Specifically, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the US or the country in which you reside.

 3.8. Links and Advertisements

We do not take any responsibility for the websites that have a link on our website. You are advised to cautiously validate the information given on such websites and vigilantly evaluate their respective private policies and other terms and conditions. We shall not be liable for any repercussions arising from your visiting these websites or dealing with the parties that own them. Furthermore, we do not take any responsibility for the advertisements displayed on our websites. Therefore, we shall not be liable for any repercussions arising from your decisions based on the information given in such advertisements or your dealings with the advertisers.  4. Modes of Payment

We accept payments (for our products/services) via all credit and debit cards (Stripe or PayPal), or other modes that we may acknowledge from time to time. We do not misuse the information you provide us for transactional purposes. If you are a company, please, write to us to request an Invoice. Please provide us with the company name, country, full address, number of candidates to be registered and the language of their exams (English, French or Spanish).

Note: Bank transfers are accepted for companies only.

 

4.1. Dispatch of Certificates

The candidates who have passed their respective tests are sent their digital certificate. The hard copy certificate is optional and can also be sent via registered air mail. Additional costs may apply. They are sent at the addresses the candidates provide us while registering for the test. Depending upon the country of residence, the certificates reach the candidates usually within 4 – 8 weeks of their passing the test. However, we shall not be liable for any postal delays and non-delivery or non-receipt of the certificates due to the reasons beyond our control.

 4.2 No Refunds

All sales of Certification Full Kits and related services are final and non-refundable.
Due to the digital and intangible nature of the products (PDF manual, practice platform, online exam), GECB does not offer refunds, regardless of the situation or reason provided.

4.3 Withdrawing from the Association

In case either party wants to withdraw from the association with the other one, both the parties shall pay the overdue payments (if any) and fulfill the other pending commitments (if any).

 4.4 Compensation

In case GECB or the other party becomes liable to pay any compensation with regard to any infringement of the terms and conditions, contract, warranty, etc., the compensation shall not exceed an amount that is overdue.

 4.5 Termination of Services

We presume that the information the User is providing us is true and correct. In case, we detect any discrepancies in the information provided to us, we shall immediately terminate the User’s subscription to our services.

 4.6 Merger and Collaboration

We are free to take any decisions as per our business requirements. In case our company has a merger or collaboration with any other company or companies, there can be certain changes in our terms and conditions. We shall endeavor to inform all our registered users about any such changes. However, you are advised to keep reviewing the terms and conditions from time to time.

 4.7 Policy Modifications

GECB has the exclusive right to change, modify, amend, or revise all or any part of its current terms and conditions, temporarily or permanently. The changes made shall come into effect immediately. The link to the revised terms and conditions will be clearly notified on the Home Page of the website. The Users must ensure that they frequently review the terms and conditions, as their using the website or/and other products/services shall imply that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions applicable at the time of their usage. If the Users have any queries, doubts, or confusions with regard to the revised terms and conditions, they may contact us. However, if the change in terms and conditions leads to the User’s terminating its association with GECB, the User shall pay the overdue (if any) and fulfill other pending commitments (if any).

If you do not adhere to GECB directives, guidelines, and suggestions, as stated herein, we have every right to seal your account and discontinue providing all or any of our products/services (whether current or future) to you.
